Delegation of the State Administration of TCM, China visited NZCCM on 9-10, 12 2018

Dr Wang Zhiyong, the Vice Commissioner of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of China, led a delegation to visit New Zealand from December 9th-10th, 2018 to investigate the development status of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

The delegation visited our College on 10th December 2018 and greatly appreciated our College’s efforts on the development of Chinese Medicine Education in New Zealand. During the visit, the delegation also visited the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland, School of Medicine of the University of Auckland, New Zealand Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society Inc., and other TCM groups, as well as local Chinese medicine and acupuncture clinics. After the visits, the delegation was impressed by bilateral exchanges and cooperation on TCM between China and New Zealand, and the development of Chinese Medicine in New Zealand. The Vice Commissioner Wang expressed the hope that together with the TCM profession in New Zealand, to build up Chinese Medicine culture as a strong bridge for culture exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, to deepen the development of Belt and Road initiatives and to benefit people of both countries.
