Graduation Ceremony on 12 April 2019

On Friday 12th April 2019, New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine held the Bachelor of Health Science April 2019 graduation ceremony. 14 graduates attended the graduation ceremony and 8 students graduated in absentia.

CEO Stephen first addressed his welcome to students, families, friends & invited guests, demonstrated NZCCM vision for the future, and congratulated on the successes of graduate students to become registered TCM practitioners. Stephen also expressed his hope that graduates will pursue continuous learning in the TCM field to improve themselves to serve the community and the society better.

Subsequently, NZCCM Council Chair Dr John Sinclair addressed the graduates on celebrating success in healthcare. College Principal Dr Jessica Li Feng and the Chair of Academic Board Dr Willem Fourie presented awards including graduation certificates, bachelor’s degree certificates and the academic scholarship award. Graduates came to the stage with a happy and proud smile to receive their awards, while the teachers, students and invited family members and guests enjoyed these most unforgettable moments.Then Helena Ying, Programme Leader, led the graduates in taking the oath for Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners.

Finally, graduate representative Shirin Cottier expressed the graduate’s deep gratitude to the NZCCM leaders and teachers for their expert guidance, teaching and hard work over the past years. The Bachelor of Health Science April 2019 graduation ceremony concluded with warm and lasting applause from all present.
