Covid19 News

The Government has further strengthened the restrictions on all travelers entering NZ . Everyone presenting to board a plane overseas to come to NZ must now show how they have arranged to meet the 14 day self isolation requirement on arrival in NZ before they will be allowed to board the aircraft at embarkation.

Our College policy is that all students and staff who have traveled overseas must undertake 14 days self isolation on arrival in NZ before attending the College . Anyone who has had contact with a person in NZ  who is themselves is required to self isolate, or who has any symptoms or is a suspected case, is also required to self isolate for a minimum of 14 days.

If you or a close contact is not feeling well /or is showing any symptoms which may be similar to COVID 19 please notify the College, seek medical advice , and contact the Ministry of Health HEALTHLINE 0800 358 5453

Students are required to notify the College of any intended travel overseas and on return not only to self isolate but to also provide evidence of their arrival date back into NZ .

You are reminded the Government has advised all non essential travel overseas should be cancelled. Consistent with government policy we are requiring our staff to not travel overseas .

While the Travel restrictions are initially in place for 14 days all advice is that this situation may last for a number of months.

Any students in self isolation or affected by travel bans need to contact the College to arrange on line delivery of lessons as provided for in, and according to, NZQA policy

Thank you for your cooperation .
