Auckland celebrated the Chinese New Year season, with various activities creating a vibrant atmosphere across the city. As part of these celebrations, the BNZ Auckland Lantern Festival 2025 took place at the Manukau Sports Bowl from February 13 to 16, drawing over 200,000 participants. This record-breaking event was hosted by Auckland City Council and featured a wide range of cultural showcases. The New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine, along with the China-New Zealand Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine, was invited to participate, contributing to the growing cultural exchange between New Zealand and China.
